Educators who had only ever traded voice notes saw each other's faces for the first time.

The first Tech Enabled Teachers Conference took a WhatsApp community's energy and put it on one screen, streamed live over Microsoft Teams and YouTube. Educators who had only ever traded voice notes logged on together, swapped classroom wins, and discovered they were not alone in wanting more from technology than projectors and PDFs.

The legacy: proof that peer-driven professional development works in Nigeria — and a community that refused to go home quietly.
