The first Tech Enabled Teachers Conference took a WhatsApp community's energy and put it in one room. Educators who had only ever traded voice notes met face to face, swapped classroom wins, and discovered they were not alone in wanting more from technology than projectors and PDFs.
The legacy: proof that peer-driven professional development works in Nigeria — and a community that refused to go home quietly.
Bigger venue, bolder sessions, and a programme that stretched from inclusive-education AI to hands-on maker labs. TETC 2.0 turned attendees into evangelists: teachers came as individuals and left as delegations planning what their whole school would do differently.
The legacy: 2,000+ educators reached across two editions, and the blueprint for a two-track future.
